Just doodling during dailies again..........

Its a cool day here at work.
I've never seen an Oscar in person,
its pretty neat!
It was great working with an awesome group of people
on this project.

Just got a cintiq and I was playing around...

This was about 20 minutes
just to test out the new toy.

This was another drawing for a video game.
It was going to be a racing game set in a cyberpunk-ish world,
so this isn't anyplace in particular, but an amalgam of some American cities

This is just a doodle, done at my desk at work
while waiting for a scene to shoot.
I end up drawing on almost anything available to me
at the time.

Behold.....The nude figure models of Angmar

I took a figure drawing class at the
new Chouinard Institute.
I had gone to CalArts and always heard
the greatness of our forebearers in the field
attending Chouinard. It was a fun experience and my
teacher was Alan Zaslove an old UPA guy
with a bunch of good stories

I did this the other weekend
to use as a title illustration for a story animatic.
This was about 40 minutes from drawing to
photoshop.

Horses and pigs and basketball oh my

I made an earlier post with a lion and an elephant.
This is more from that project a friend of mine
had. I was thinking of Kurt Rambis when
I drew the horse.

Scary Wolf Sketchbook entry......of doom

These are just more random sketches.
I was just trying to think of how to draw
something like a werewolf that does not
rely too much on stuff I have already seen.
Thats a problem with a lot of design in
that we have to make up new and interesting characters
based on old and already viewed ideas.
So for this I was thinking of that type of crocodile
in egypt , that has the really skinny snout.
